When you want to chase waterfalls all day long - hit the Gorge, duh. I visited all of these waterfalls in one day and also checked out Oneota as well. How I did it exactly...I'm not sure. I don't remember to be honest and I had a hiking buddy who was leading the way. I am guessing I did the Horsetail Falls Loop (where I saw horsetail falls and then ponytail falls) and then I did the extension to triple falls. I'm pretty sure I finished the hike with Oneota which is the smallest little hike in ever. Wear your bathing suit and bring a water treading bag to protect your stuff because the hike is about waist deep in water. Triple Falls. Start Point: Oneota Trail Head Distance: 3.2 miles round trip Elevation: 610 ft. Drive Time From Portland: 45 mins Horsetail Falls. Starting Point: Horsetail Falls Trailhead Distance: 2.6 miles Elevation: 610 ft. Ponytail Falls... Maybe. Or maybe this picture is just another angle of Horsetail Falls.
Distance: 0.8 miles Elevation: 360 ft.

AuthorMy love for hiking began after I took a celebration graduation trip to Oahu, Hawaii in 2014 and went on three awesome hikes in the warm tropical weather. Favorite Links:Archives
