So excited about this little tiny SE portland brunch spot, Trinket. I stopped in before a long, treacherous day of hiking and left feeling full and ready to rock & roll. They have so many delicious looking meals and drinks on the MENU - (even a watermelon mimosa!) it was hard to decide!
I settled for "The Cure" - they're version of a bloody mary with fresh beet, carrot and ginger juice AND the "Huevos Al Pastor", which is my favorite type of mexican carnitas with pineapple. Open for Brunch DAILY, 8am-3:30pm. Address: 2035 SE Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. Portland, OR 97214

So healthy - so delicious!
This is Harlow's sister restaurant located above the rock gym in SE portland. I got the Urban Bowl with a poached egg, a green tea & the Melody juice. my #1 bae got the Mississippi St. Plate and a coffee. Check the menu: HERE. Wandered into this little cafe this morning when looking for a place to grab coffee and a quick croissant (anything but starbucks!) while staying in NW portland at my boyfriend's parent's condo.
I opened up the website and saw macaroons and said YES PLEASE. Sadly, no macaroons there today but lots of delicious scones, cookies and croissants. I got us the lemon poppyseed scone and a ham and swiss quiche croissant. Both delicious. Address: 404 NW 10th Ave, Portland, OR 97209 Menu: HERE This place is a gluten free paradise. Everything is amazing & there are doughnuts on Saturday & Sunday! Even maple bacon ones. Check the menu for rotating flavors!

We went on a sunny weekday morning and there was no wait for a small patio table. We ordered their bloody mary's with bacon which were awesome! I had the migas with fruit instead of potatoes and loved it! Website: HERE. Menus: brunch / lunch Address: 1212 NW Glisan St, Portland, OR, 97209 SE Portland is my favorite place.. on EARTH.. to brunch. And Genie's is like the hottest bloody mary spot, hands down. They've got tons of housemade infused vodkas. If that aint your thing, the mimosas are pint glass sized and you can get pineapple, orange, grapefruit or mix any of them. The scorpion mary pictured above is served with a pickled scorpion as a garnish. Order everything here! It's all good.
